Why Birth Photography?
This is one of the most important days of your life. On this day you will bring life into this world. On this day you will work harder at something than you’ve ever had to work before, and in the end you get the ultimate payoff…your baby.There are so many emotions and sensations to be felt during the birth process. It is easy in this chaotic, yet naturally choreographed process to not be fully in the moment, to miss something. What better way to remember this very special day, in all of it’s glory, than through professional photos of all of these moments. Your birthing journey, through the contractions, the delivery, baby’s first breath to mom and dad’s first look upon their child and all of baby’s first moments on Earth .Birth is something that is so special, so sacred, and most people don’t think to capture it. It’s such a fleeting moment in your life, but such an important day. You can’t afford not to capture those moments.
When you choose to hire me to photograph your birth you are making an investment. You are investing in one of a kind, photojournalistic photographs documenting your most important day. You will have these photographs to show your baby when they are grown, their entrance into the world. The labor you did for them, their first breath, your first reaction to them. There could not be a more precious gift. Because of the critical timeline, the unpredictablity of arrival, I only schedule two births per month. For this reason it is important to book with me as far in advance as possible. I will be on-call for you at all hours of the day and night for the month, weeks, days and hours leading up to your baby’s birthday.

Birth Package A: $595*
I will be on-call for you all hours of the day or night. When you go into active labor (we can discuss this in detail further so you know the right time to call me in) I will come to you and spend 2-6 hours photographing your labor, birth, and important firsts after baby’s arrival. You will receive a USB with all digital edited images ( $225 value!) A slideshow on a DVD (mp4), set to music of your edited images. A password protected, on-line viewing gallery if you wish to share your birth photographs with friends and family. 4X6 prints of all edited images enclosed in a custom image box, wrapped in textured satin paper, printed with a custom design or image. The description of these does not do them justice, you have to see one in person to fully appreciate their beauty. Additional prints can be purchased at 15% off regular print prices.
This package also includes a Maternity session & a Newborn session 7-10 days after birth. You also receive a $50 print credit with this package. I have a lot of newborn props, hats, blankets, etc. for you to enjoy. A password protected, on-line viewing gallery to share with friends and family. Prints purchased separately at 15% off regular print prices.
This package also includes 3 additional copies of your USB, including DVD(mp4) slideshow and all edited images for Grandparents. ($135 Value!)
